Combine taskbar buttons only when full
Today’s quick Windows 10 tip involves the taskbar, and its default stacking behaviour in Windows 10.
To quickly and easily switch between open windows I like to avoid the stacking of taskbar buttons whenever possible. Here’s how to enable this behaviour:
- Right-click a blank area on the taskbar and select Settings.
Scroll down to locate the option Combine taskbar buttons and change it to When taskbar is full.
Now I just need a larger monitor so the taskbar doesn’t fill up!
